Wicked stuff

Wicked stuff.
As in really cool things that inspire me, like art:
John McLaughlin painting:

A painting at LACMA (I need to go back and find out who made it):

Music. I will always and forever love Trent Reznor. I snapped this at a talk he gave with David Byrne here in LA:

And Patti Smith is my muse.

I LOVE “A Tale of Two Cities”. Not really a Dickens fan, oddly enough. But “A Tale of Two Cities” is a perfect book. Another classic worth the hype is “The Great Gatsby”.

My favorite poem by e.e. cummings:

VII
since feeling is first
who pays any attention
to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you;

wholly to be a fool
while Spring is in the world

my blood approves,
and kisses are a better fate
than wisdom
lady i swear by all flowers. Don’t cry
—-the best gesture of my brain is less than
your eyelids’ flutter which says

we are for each other:then
laugh,leaning back in my arms
for life’s not a paragraph

And death i think is no parenthesis

And I must mention the best movie ever:

Clue. I love it. And Tim Curry.
